Jon’s focus at NAL Company is to ensure all the cogs in our machine run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. This includes—but is definitely not limited to—scheduling production runs, setting up machines, quality assurance, and shipping and receiving.
“Being flexible and able to adjust quickly to the needs of our customers is a must. If things get crazy and I need to operate a machine to keep on schedule or help load and unload product, that’s my job to do,” said Jon. Every day is a little different than the day before but the goal is always the same- fulfill our customer’s needs with quality product quickly and efficiently.”
There are many aspects of Jon’s position at NAL that go beyond the day-to-day logistics of our production. He has risen to several new opportunities in the past couple of years, having the opportunity to present at several sales meetings, getting involved in our current marketing and sales campaign, and working on developing ideas for our future growth.
Above all, what Jon values most about his role at NAL is the strong sense of camaraderie. “In my life, I have been a part of many great teams. Starting as a youth athlete, to my time in the military, to coaching youth sports. During that time, one thing has become abundantly clear to me: everyone should want to fulfill the need to be part of something bigger than themselves. The want to contribute to a team accomplishes a great task that is impossible for a person to do on their own. People have a need to be appreciated for what they bring to the table to accomplish these huge tasks. I think that’s the best part of N.A.L. Everyone at this company, from upper management through production, feels like they are contributing and are appreciated for what they bring to work every day.”
