Tim Leibreich wears several different hats at N.A.L. Company.
“I’ve been close to the paperboard industry all of my life,” says Tim Leibreich. As N.A.L.’s Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Specialty Products, and HR Director, his day-to-day requires managing several different cogs in a well-oiled machine. Upon graduating from college, Tim recognized there were so many opportunities to choose from—easily an overwhelming amount of possibilities and different pathways. So he took the advice of his father, Norman Leibreich Sr. and founder of N.A.L. Company: start with your abilities, access your education, and know where your strengths lie.
“I saw a need for a new member in the group to move away from direct production and operation issues and assume a role that focused on relationships within the company,” he said. Ultimately, he decided that his education and developed attributes were most aligned with joining his family’s team at N.A.L. Company. His education in Sociology helps with HR functions; customer service, product development, and financial skills are backed by his strong math, analytical, and history education. Tim is kept on his toes not only by his multiple roles at N.A.L., but also by the constant changing needs of customers, employees, and the company itself.
Having been with the company for so long, Tim knows how to set goals that are realistic and doable, but also innovative and exciting. His vision for N.A.L.’s future is to keep the organization flexible, nimble, and an innovative force within the marketplace. He wants business to benefit both his customers and employees while endeavoring the company to grow and expand. Tim’s philosophy on why his work is so important? “My position does not exist solely for my benefit. It exists for the good of this company, for the good of my employees, and the good of all our customers.”
